Our deliveries are unique as we deliver to the same clients week to week.  We use glass and/or stainless steel containers, so when deliveries are made, you will pick up the empty containers to bring them back to the kitchen.  The containers can be heavy, so being able to lift and carry the coolers when they are filled is a necessary part of the job.

When you arrive to work, you will help pack the coolers with the client’s meals and get your route for deliveries that day.  If the meals are not ready, we may ask that you do some dish washing and/or trash removal prior to heading out.

Once you start your deliveries, You will text each client when their meals leave the kitchen.

Sometimes, clients will not be home and they ask that we drop their order at their doorstep, while others may wish to have their order brought inside and placed in their fridge.  If you don’t see the clients, we ask that you text them again to let them know that their meals have been delivered.

Upon returning to the kitchen, the empty containers need to be put back in the clients’ cubbies.  You may need to remove labels and wash containers that are dirty.

We have clients in a 30 mile radius of our kitchen, including NJ, Rockland, Dutchess and Putnam Counties, NY.

Other duties available would be picking up grocery orders, bringing them back to the kitchen and assist in putting them away.

Pay is $14 per hour plus $.56 cents per mile.  There are no tips.

Prep Chef

As Prep Chef, you will be preparing food for delivery of our weekly meals.  Menus vary week to week but the job will always consist of prepping ingredients, preparing salads, soups, side dishes as well as components of main meals, which are custom.  You will be responsible for receiving groceries, rotating food in storage and keep lists of when to replace them.  You will be active in co-creating weekly lunch menus for the micro-cafe and execute the making of lunch orders.  All of our team are also trained to pour shots from the espresso machine and fulfill orders at the Micro Cafe Window, when necessary, so interaction with our guests will be part of your duties.

Work is part time.  Days/Hours: Wednesday through Saturday.  Position is $17 p/h to start.

Our Kitchen is in Washingtonville, NY.  It’s a small space with a unique, home kitchen feel and lots of daylight.  Our current staff of 3 main Chefs are thoughtful, nurturing and encourage creativity in the workplace.
